Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp believes that despite their shaky start, Manchester United remains in contention for the Premier League title.
He dismissed the idea of writing off Manchester City after their recent loss to Aston Villa, labeling it as ‘a joke’ to discount City from the title race.
Klopp added Arsenal and Chelsea to the mix of teams contending for the title, acknowledging the unpredictability of Liverpool’s own chances of winning the league.
Liverpool currently holds the second spot in the Premier League table, trailing leaders Arsenal. Teams like Aston Villa, Manchester City, Tottenham, Manchester United, and Chelsea follow behind.
When asked about the title race going down to the wire, Klopp jokingly admitted uncertainty, stating, “I have no clue! If we win it, I hope not!”
He emphasized that writing off Manchester City would be absurd and highlighted Arsenal’s resilience.
Klopp also acknowledged the competitiveness of teams like Aston Villa, Manchester United, and Chelsea, despite certain criticisms about their playing style, highlighting their impressive point tally.
