Ghanaian media personality Afua Asantewaa Aduonum is gearing up to make history by attempting a new Guinness World Record with her upcoming Sing-A-Thon, aiming for the longest continuous singing session.
Taking to her Instagram page, she excitedly shared a screenshot of the response she received from the Guinness World Record management regarding her ambitious endeavor.
Her plan entails a remarkable feat: singing only Ghanaian songs for an astounding 117 hours without repeating any until after a scheduled four-hour break.
Afua Aduonum‘s primary motivation behind this audacious venture is to spotlight and propagate Ghanaian music to a global audience. She passionately believes in the rich cultural heritage and diverse musical repertoire that Ghana possesses.
Furthermore, she’s determined to surpass the current world record holder for the longest individual singing marathon, aiming to exceed the existing record of 102 hours.
