Rumour has it that Mariah Carey’s estranged husband, Nick Cannon is dating Eddie Murphy’s ex-wife, Nicole Murphy. The 33-year-old actor reportedly spent a very romantic evening with Murphy, 45, at an uptown bar on Valentine’s Day.

A source reports that “the new couple had dinner in the back of the NYC’s Bagatelle restaurant with another couple on February 10, 2015 laughing together.”
An eyewitness to their date night told Us Magazine that Cannon and Murphy were so engrossed in their conversation during their dinner that they didn’t even notice when one of Carey’s songs started to play:
“They were too into each other to pay attention. They held hands from across the table gazing at each other throughout their meal.
“They would honestly be perfect for each other… dressed up and laughing a lot together.”
On the other hand, the “Hero” singer is not doing so well due to the pressure of a failed marriage and impending Las Vegas residency a source reveals.
“She’s extremely emotional and cries uncontrollably…s he’s gone off the deep end.
“She still loves Nick but knows he’s gone… she feels like she’s directionless and not in control of her life.”
Cannon was married to Carey for six years before he filed for divorce in December 2014. They have twins together.
While Murphy was married to Eddie Murphy from 1993 to 2006 and was then engaged to NFL pro and television host Michael Strahan for five years until August 2014.
