KROKODIL

This one has to be the nastiest drug on this list. Desomorphine known on the street as krokodil is a cheaply made synthetic morphine that is made from codine, iodine and red phosphorous.

It’s essentially a brown sludge that has similar effects as heroin except that it has many more serious side effects. The users of this drug develop severely dried out skin that can quickly eat away by the toxic and ingredients within it. Disturbingly, that’s what the drug gets it’s street name from, because it leaves it’s victims looking like they’ve developed crocodile skin.
