Neymar in media
Neymar Jr has created a huge sensation in popular social media by his marvelous skill and growing talent. He reached 48.6 million Facebook fans in October 2014. Neymar also spotted the fourth highest social media rank worldwide among the athletes, only behind to Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi and David Beckham. In June 2014, Neymar was featured along with supermodel Gisele Bündchen as a cover photo of Vogue’ Brazilian edition to mark the FIFA World Cup organizes in Brazil.
In April 2013, a famous Brazilian cartoonist Mauricio de Sousa featured young Neymar Jr. as the main character in his Monica’s Gang comic book.
