Gucci Mane came on the scene in 2005 with his album Trap House. He followed up the single Hard to Kill in 2006. He also released Trap-A-Thon and Back To The Trap House in 2007. So apparently, Gucci Mane likes to rap about “traps,” which are old abandoned homes in neighborhoods that are often used as drug houses.
