7. Jon Hamm

Jon Hamm is mostly noted for his long running role as an advertising executive in Mad Men. His talent as an actor, director and television producer is noted by all in the entertainment industry. He has been nominated for 12 Emmys, won a Golden Globe, Screen Actors Guild Award and several additional accolades.

One of the most interesting things about Hamm is that he almost didn’t make it in Hollywood. After visiting friend Paul Rudd in Los Angeles he decided to move permanently with his sights set on becoming a star.
