The “mean guy” of American Idol got a taste of his own medicine when he got dumped by his ex-girlfriend, entertainment reporter Terri Seymour, in the form of a text. However, there were seemingly no hard feelings about the breakup (or the method), since Seymour and Cowell sat down for an interview after the relationship was over. During the interview Simon admitted, “Terri decided to dump me…you sent me a text.” The two have remained friends, and there are even reports that Simon has lavished Terri with some pretty expensive gifts, including a home. Maybe Simon Cowell’s not such a mean guy, after all.
