The only difference is they are in the spotlight so the pressure is on for them to still look in tact even if they are heartbroken and feel like they have hit rock bottom. They can’t stay inside and chug a bottle of wine while eating their favorite dark chocolates like a lot of us get to do. Maybe sometimes it is a good thing to not be a celebrity. Regardless, it is tough out there in the world of fame, where you have to keep it together for the cameras and media, all while dealing with a feeling of heartache deep inside.
We have to give it to them. From what we’ve seen, celebrities do a great job with recovering after a split, even though they might have a lot of help from their “people.” Some celebrities were already killing the game while they were dating their beau and yet, they managed to stay on point after the split such as Katy Perry and Jennifer Lopez following their splits to Russell Brand and Ben Affleck, respectively.
While some celebs already had it together, it is even more entertaining to watch someone not be exactly at the best stage in their lives and suddenly become so confident and slaying every minute after their breakup. Celebrities like sisters Kourtney Kardashian and Khloe Kardashian are the perfect example of using their break-up as a fresh start.

If there is anyone who can prove you can benefit from a split, it’s Kim Kardashian. The reality TV celebrity is infamously known for her past relationship with R&B singer, Ray J, and their scandalous sex tape back in 2003 which was leaked later in 2007. Her fame is always brought to question and the most common answer is always pointed at the ex-couple’s tape explaining why the brunette beauty’s status is what it is. Whatever the real reason is as to how she got famous, the leaked sex tape didn’t hurt, but perhaps helped a little.
Ever since, the Kardashian has starred on her own reality TV series, Keeping Up with the Kardashians, and collected a number of endorsements. Her family also jumped on the bandwagon and have also established themselves in Hollywood. In 2010, the rest of the Kardashians accumulated a whopping $65 million. Since her break-up to Ray J, Kim has gone on to date other bachelors including Kris Humphries and current husband, Kanye West.
