6. Billy & Chuck (September 12, 2002)
More than a decade before the nation as a whole worked towards legalizing gay marriage, there was the wedding ceremony between Billy and Chuck. This duo was comprised of Billy Gunn from Degeneration X fame, and Chuck Palumbo who came over in the WCW Invasion. Palumbo was kicked out of the Alliance and teamed with Gunn, and then things turned affectionate between the two.
In 2002, Chuck proposed to Billy and he accepted. They would have a televised wedding on Smackdown, but as it was time to make things official, Billy and Chuck decided to come clean with the truth that this relationship was just a publicity stunt. They had taken it too far and admitted that they are strictly hetero.
