Sergio Busquets certainly paints himself as a controversial figure on the football pitch, never afraid to put in a challenge that may cause injury to an opponent. However, he has also come under fire for racism against Real Madrid’s Marcelo. During their clash during the 2011 El Clasico, Busquets allegedly called Marcelo a monkey several times.
