“Didier Drogba is using Iphone 6, i cant come and kill myself” – Nigerians react on Twitter to Drogba’s phone at Ballon d’or awards

The race to use the latest Iphone in Nigeria at the moment is more popular than the Formula one race in Dubai. Nigerians now form class with the model of phones they use and there’s is always discrimination against people not using the latest Iphones.

No wonder Nigerians have stormed Twitter with unbelieve after last night’s  Ballon d’Or 2019 awards event that was hosted by Chelsea legend Didier Drogba.

Drogba, who is from Ivory Coast was spotted with an Iphone 6 when the Ivorian took a selfie with Paris Saint-Germain sensation Kylian Mbappe during the Ballon d’Or 2019 awards ceremony on Monday.

His choice of phone caught the eyes of many, because he didn’t pull out an Iphone 11 or even Iphone X from his pocket but its the modest iPhone 6 that’s still being used by the football legend.
