Nigerian comedian, Funnybone, has taken to his Instagram page to express himself after he saw a video of himself at a restaurant taken without his consent.
He stated that people have to be respectful enough to exclude other people especially celebrities in public places in their video or media content if they intend to share their location.
According to him, he finds it rude when people add him to their video or media content without his consent.
He recalled how he visited a restaurant and a girl took an unaware video of him tagging herself and her live location.
He added that times are bad and for people’s safety, restaurants should ban the use of phones or restrict the usage of phones from customers.
In his words:
“Be tactful and respectful enough to exclude people around from your videos when sharing your live locations for social media.
“If you are ok with people knowing your location that’s fine. But please don’t add me to your videos without my consent. It’s actually very RUDE.
“You walk into a lounge for a drink and one smallie (girl) will Snapchat and add you to her videos without your consent.
“Tagging herself and the location. I honestly think that lounges and restaurants in Lagos should outrightly ban the use of phones or restrict how customers use it. Times are bad. Ya’all be safe out there.”
