Pep Guardiola, the manager of Manchester City, has suggested that Erling Haaland’s chances of winning the Ballon d’Or depend on his continued goal-scoring and trophy-winning performances.
Guardiola made these remarks following Haaland’s two-goal performance in Manchester City’s recent Champions League victory over Young Boys.

Haaland, who is 23 years old, has already scored 15 goals in as many games this season. He finished as the runner-up to Lionel Messi in this year’s Ballon d’Or rankings.
When asked if Haaland could win the award next year, Guardiola replied, “If he and his teammates can win more trophies, then he will have a chance to win it. If he doesn’t, then he won’t win it.”
Haaland has an impressive record of 39 goals in just 34 Champions League matches and has scored a total of 67 goals in 70 games for Manchester City.
