An Ibadan-based mistress had over the weekend brutalized her 12-year-old female housemaid leaving her almost blind and severe bruises on different parts of her body including her breasts because she failed to tidy the dining table after cleaning the house.

According to reports, the incident happened precisely on Sunday, January 25, 2015 at the Eleyele Police Barracks in Ibadan, Oyo state’s capital.
It was also gathered that the mistress brutally beat up the victim knocking off one of her teeth in the process and subsequently poured steaming hot water on her scalding her breasts and other parts of her body.
But for the timely intervention of concerned neighbours, the woman might have probably killed the poor victim.
The woman was arrested and taken into custody by the state police command while the victim is undergoing treatment in an undisclosed hospital in the state.
