The request is Buhari’s first correspondence to the National Assembly since he assumed office on Friday, May 29, 2015.
On Sunday, Buhari named Femi Adesina as Special Adviser, Media and Publicity, while Malam Garba Shehu becomes Senior Special Assistant, Media and Publicity.
Buhari also appointed Malam Lawal Abdullahi Kazaure as the new State Chief of Protocol (SCOP).Buhari is yet to name his advisers or ministers. Hence, Nigerians are still waiting to see who gets elected.
It was reported earlier today that Buhari is expected to name his senior and personal officials today.
Meanwhile, the president is said to be in Niger for an official obligation while the vice president is in Sudan on another official mission
