Two days ago, we celebrated Dagrin’s post-humous birthday. Dagrin, who is undeniably one of Nigeria’s greates rap talent died on the 22nd day of April 2010 (Eight years ago) in an unfortunate car crash. His death was a shock to fans and industry mates, especially his prodigy, Olamide, who alongside others, paid a musical tribute for him.
Just like Dagrin, we may have found a star, though still rising, we know for a fact that he’d break boundaries as his rap game is strong!
Omo Ita, Trod, who calls himself “the living Grin“, is certainly an artiste to look out for in the nearest future, and with his popularity already rising (Social), it seems like that “future” is even nearer than we think.
For the love of his elder brother, he used TROD as his stage name, which means; “The Return of Dagrin”
A tweet from a producer on Twitter, @DirectedByDiji, got my attention, so I decided to check him out, and boy… He is good! The music director Diji, mentioned Davido, asking that he signs Trod.
After seeing this, I was curious to know who he was, so I went to his Social (Instagram) and saw a couple of videos, which left me impressed.

He is a young talent and with a bit of brushing, he’d definitely go far, farther than the mastermind, Dagrin.
