23-year-old Miss Jamaica,Toni-Ann Singh beats 113 co-contestants to become the holder of the crown at the Miss World 2019.
The colorful event held in London on Saturday, December 13th and aside seeing Singh emerging the top pageant, it also saw 21-year-old Nigerian beauty queen, Nyekachi Douglas make it to the top 5z
Singh, who is studying Women’s Studies and Psychology at Florida State University, was crowned by Miss World 2018, Vanessa Ponce of Mexico.
The amazing MBGN World, Nyekachi Douglas, has definitely put Nigeria back on Miss World radar, with her overall composure and back to back wins at the just concluded Miss World 2019, and we couldn’t be more proud of her.
The 21-year-old Nyekachi made Nigeria proud by surmounting all odds and making it to the top 5 overall out of 111 contestants, and she was also named Miss World Africa.
The top five contestants who faced Piers Morgan, were Miss Nigeria; Nyekachi Douglas, Miss Jamaica; Toni-Ann Singh, Miss Brazil; Elis Coelho, Miss India; Suman Ratan Singh Rao and Miss France; Ophely Mezino.
