The song was released on June 1, 2010 by Young Money, Cash Money, and Universal Motown as the lead single of the album Pink Friday. This video features some martial arts scenes and I love the vocal abilities of Nicki in this one.

Released on the 14^th of September also from the Pink Friday album. The music video was shot over the weekend of October 1, 2010. The concept is a boy-girl relationship drama and features Minaj and her love fighting and arguing, with him threatening to leave her while Minaj tries to apologize. I love this video cos of its Drama and of course its RnB flow.

Moments For Life

This video features Drake. I so love the video revolving around her life as a King and fairy godmother and love life and all of that. You’d agree with me that this video rocked for every moment it was aired. “Moment 4 Life” marked the physical debut of Martha Zolanski, mother of Roman Zolanski, an alter-ego played by Nicki Minaj.

Super Bass

Clean concept. Crazy costumes and designs. Booty revealing girls, topnotch creativity, Nicki once again showed in this video that she is here to stay. The music video instead premiered on Minaj’s official Vevo account on May 5, 2011. She donned many colourful wig and was really playful in the video.

FLY

This song featured Rihanna. Rihanna’s contribution to the song was a last minute addition. “FLY is one of my absolute faves. I wanted to work with Rihanna for a long time. I’m very proud of her accomplishments; especially since she was born on an island like me, Nicki said once in an interview. The preview consists of Minaj and Rihanna in a foggy area, with Minaj having a pixie cut and Rihanna having long hair, seemingly switching hairstyles. The ‘Fly’ video is a freakin’ movie! Lol.

The Boys

This song was recorded by Nicki and Cassie, and was released on the 12^th of September, 2012. Various clips of Minaj and Cassie appear as the chorus goes (including Nicki bouncing on the ball, rapping & so forth).Minaj then starts the second verse inside of a colorful beauty salon, sporting a pink wig, getting her hair done. Dancers are seen doing choreography in the salon and Cassie begins to sing the chorus again while sitting down in the salon, holding a stack of money dressed in a blue men’s suit. Very dramatic video. Nice one!

VaVaVoom

This song is an electropop song with lyrics that talks about sexual activity towards a male. The music video was filmed on December 21, 2011, in Los Angeles. Minaj’s mythical persona is showcased throughout the video. It’s safe to say this video has something for everyone. Starting with Nicki herself looking damn good.

Pills n Portions

The lyrics within the song revolve around someone whom—despite wronging her—she still loves. “Pills n Potions” is a slow-burning piano ballad “framed in the druggy imagery of mixtape rap”. It was shot on May 13 and 14, this year 2014 by the same director, who shot her ‘Right thru me’ video. The music video premiered on her VEVO channel on June 9, 2014. The video features rapper The Game.

Bang Bang

You would notice this is the only song on this list that Nicki was featured in. Very melodramatic featuring Ariana Grande, Nicki and Jessie J. The song is the lead single from Jessie J’s third studio album Sweet Talker (2014). The video was shot over two days in Los Angeles, California. On August 25, 2014, the video was released via Jessie J’s VEVO account.

The video broke the 24-hour streaming record on Vevo by accumulating 19.6 million views in its first day of release, beating the 19.3 million 24-hour record previously held by Miley Cyrus for the music video of her song, “Wrecking Ball”, in 2013.

The video is about Nicki asserting her power, not as a sexual object but a sexual subject, according to some sources. Crazy video. Snakes, wild life, girls, twerk sessions, you wouldn’t but want it to exceed its 4”20 minutes length, or would you?
