6. James Dalton Highway (Alaska)
The James Dalton highway of Alaska is also considered as the most dangerous roads of the world. The James Dalton highway is around 414 miles long gravel road. It heads straight north from the Livengood turnoff of the Elliott Highway. This road is famous as the main supply route for the Prudhoe Bay oilfields. You will find mostly tractor and trailers there and this road is not ideal for the brand new vehicle. It is also famous about this road that most of the rental companies in the town do not allow to drive their cars on the Dalton highway. Sometimes the truck on this road pick up their speed along the slippery gravel track and due to this reason sometimes the visibility reduces to zero. It is suggested about this road that always try to drive on this road along with CB radio, extra fuel, food, tires and a trunk filled with supplies.
