8) Sven-Goran Eriksson – £5.9-million
Eriksson has always been able to negotiate himself excellent contracts and 2014 has been no different in that sense. The Swede led Guangzhou to 3rd place in the Chinese Super League before leaving to join state-owned Shanghai. His deal at Shanghai is rumoured to be the best of his career, if Eriksson sees out all three years of the deal he could pocket himself a whopping £15-million. At 66-years-old it could be the last big payday of his successful, if journeyman, managerial career.
