4. Ja Rule
Ja Rule was considered to have been one of the hottest rappers in music during the early 2000s thanks to his affiliation with Jennifer Lopez, Ashanti and his Murda Inc. artists. Rule was an unstoppable beast in his own right, having broken world records for most consecutive top ten songs from one album to consecutive singles going multi-platinum in one year. He had it all. But after 2005, Rule’s career began to slow down and by the time 2007 came, nobody even spoke of the rapper no more. After spending two years behind bars, 2014 was supposed to have seen his big comeback, but for whatever reason, the new album has been delayed with no actual release date on when he plans on unveiling it to his handful of remaining fans.
