4. Keyshia Cole
Keyshia Cole will be forgotten by 2016. This is absolutely evident. While the songstress has a discography of hits that an aspiring singer can only wish for, Keyshia’s recent announcement that she was “parting ways” with her Interscope record label was the beginning of the end for her career. Interscope was the label that made Keyshia a superstar. It should also be noted that while artists usually say they parted ways with a record label, it usually turns out that the company decided to drop the musician for a certain reason. For Ms. Cole, it could be that her albums have not been selling as well as they used to. Her latest album Point Of No Return, has been out for almost a year and it still hasn’t even sold 100,000 copies in the United States. When fans stop buying an artist’s music, their relevancy is usually quickly stripped from them at the same time.
