This South African actress rose to fame in the late 90s and has become a mainstay on our screens from then on. Theron is known to many as a stunning blonde, so her portrayal of Aileen Wuornos in ‘Monster’ surprised many (she gained weight and shaved her eyebrows to transform her image). The gamble paid off, proving to everyone that she was more than a pretty face and making her the first South African to win the Academy Award for best Actress. Now approaching 40, Theron’s career shows no sign of slowing down; with two films due for release this year and another in 2015, her $85 million fortune looks set only to increase.
