6) Eva Longoria

Longoria was born in Corpus Christi, Texas and often refers to herself as a “Texican” or Mexican-American. Believe it or not, Eva worked at Wendy’s throughout high school. In 1998 she won the title of Miss Corpus Christi, which led to a period of entering talent contests and an eventual move to Los Angeles. Her breakout role came in 2003 as Gabrielle Solis on the ABC television series “Desperate Housewives,” for which she received a Golden Globe Award nomination.
