7) Korn & Skrillex – Get Up! (single) 2011
Skrillex is one of the leading DJ’s in the world right now, paving the way for some of the genre’s biggest names, and being one of the first of his kind to really push the envelope in terms of production. So, it would seem concerning that he would team up with the late 90’s rockers Korn, while still at the peak of his popularity. Kudos to Korn for trying to remain relevant long after their sagging sales following the 90s, but did they have to bring Skrillex down with them? The electro-metal track pales in comparison to anything the artists had done. Give them credit for stepping up to the plate, but it was a swing and a miss.
