14. Derek Jeter
In the world of professional sports, it is commonly known that New York is definitely the hardest city to play in. Not only are the fans incredibly demanding, but the media also tends to be absolutely brutal. One NY sports figure that never seemed to catch any flack was the Yankees champion Derek Jeter. He retired last year at the age of 40, and he still gets tons of NYC love wherever he goes.
