WE EXPECT DIVERSIFICATION
As seen with Iyanya’s album, playing around with only one type of music can largely hurt a body of work. Iyanya does the Soukous sound mostly and it has gotten boring while Olamide plays around with different sounds.
We expect Wande Coal to follow the Olamide route.
Diversity in music is risky but it is a risk worth taking. Wande Coal will be helped with doing different sounds on the album and not the usual “pop” sound. Wande should play around with Juju, Azonto, Makossa, High-Life among other sounds.
