Katie Couric sent Kim Kardashian a baby gift shortly after North West’s birth. Kim openly chastised Couric across social media outlets, calling her out as a “fake media friend.” Kardashian says she responded so cruelly on Instagram because supposedly, Couric had said that she did not understand why the Kardashians were so famous. Don’t we all wonder that?

Kardashian used Instagram to post a photo of the note and gift that Couric had sent, which was childish and tacky. The gift Couric sent was a cute pair of pajamas and if Kardashian had felt so offended by the gift, she could have simply done the adult thing and given the pajamas to an infant who needed them.
