8. Glee – GQ Photoshoot

In October 2010, GQ featured three stars of Glee – Dianna Agron, the late Cory Monteith, and Lea Michelle in particularly racy poses. Barely clad in high school attire, these stars were photographed in extremely sexual poses. The photoshoot received heaps of criticism, particularly from the Parents’ Television Council.

The PTC was outraged at the way in which these young stars, who played high schoolers on the FOX show, were portrayed. The president of the organization stated, “It is disturbing that GQ, which is explicitly written for adult men, is sexualizing the actresses who play high school-aged characters on Glee in this way. It borders on pedophilia.”
