7. Breaking into a Home Full of Cops
Now we all know that for a burglar the perfect house would be one where nobody is home and all of the valuables were left out within easy reach or at least not hidden to hard. However, very rarely does that happen, maybe in a sting operation. And not all burglars can be picky enough to find an entirely empty house, so they opt for a house where the residents are sound asleep in their beds. Both of these houses often make for easy pickings. But, can you imagine breaking into a house filled with police officers? That is exactly what happened to Darren Kimpton. The house he cased had been broken into earlier that day, so the homeowners had called the police who were still investigating when Darren broke in. Not only that, but earlier in the day Darren had tried unsuccessfully to break into another house, all he managed to do was cut his arm on some glass, which allowed the police to easily link him to both cases.
