Simpson case, and this moved the family into the spotlight on a minor level. Kim Kardashian, who was once best friends with Paris Hilton, made the family even more “famous” when the sex tape that she made with then-boyfriend Ray J, was released. Kourtney is known for having a turbulent relationship with Scott Disick, the father of her three children. Khloe was married to ex-NBA player Lamar Odom, and continued to be the topic of headline news when Odom nearly died after suffering a drug overdose and Khloe decided to call off their divorce. Those stories are just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to Kardashian family. So, cast member Amber Portwood responded by reminding Kardashian that she became famous from a sex tape. Touche. Kim should have known to keep her mouth shut, but the Kardashians aren’t exactly known for their tact and intelligence. We’re guessing Kim was trying to stay relevant in pop culture, and offer some type of moral advice. Sure, Portwood isn’t exactly a good girl herself, but she definitely didn’t hesitate to respond to Kardashian’s remarks. Some would say that Portwood wants to dim the Kardashian star since they’re both in the reality show business, but you’ve got to admit that Amber had a valid point. 11. Janice Dickinson Reality television star and “first supermodel” Janice Dickinsonhas never held her tongue about anything. So, it’s not surprising that she wasn’t scared to let the world know what she thought of Kim Kardashian. She called Kardashian a “lard a**” and made some pretty derogatory comments about Kim and her former best friend Paris Hilton. That’s a pretty low blow, since Kim is pretty body-conscious. We’re not sure why Janice decided to attack Kardashian, but it may have something to do with the fact that Dickinson is not as famous as she once was, and thought that stirring up some controversy with the uber-famous family would help her career a little. 10. Reese Witherspoon Reese Witherspoon is one of those actors who thinks that reality TV stars are pretty much the scum of television. She gave a speech at the MTV Movie Awards in 2011, in which she stated that it’s “possible to make it in Hollywood without a reality show.” Witherspoon is known for her wholesome image (except for that time she acted like a diva when a cop pulled her husband over for a DUI), and had a little more to say about the Kardashian family after her MTV speech. Reese stated that there was a time when people hid sex tapes under their beds instead of leaking them to the general public. We pretty much know what that means. 9. Halle Berry Halle Berry wasn’t very happy when she learned that Gabriel Aubry, the father of her daughter Nahla, was seen with Kim Kardashian at a basketball game. It was also rumored that Aubry and Kardashian had started dating, and rumor has it that Kris Jenner set the two up to boost Kim’s career. Berry apparently didn’t want Kim in her daughter’s life and was “very aggravated”, according to a source. Berry even stated that she didn’t care who Aubry dated, as long as it wasn’t a reality star. Kardashian and Aubry’s fling was pretty short-lived, which likely meant that the “contract” was over. 8. Michael Buble Singer Michael Buble has made it very clear that he’s not a fan of the Kardashian family, and he wants them to go away. During one of his concerts in 2011, he announced that Kim Kardashian would be joining him on stage. Then he laughed and said, “Nah, just f*cking with you! That [expletive] isn’t coming on my stage.” Well, that seems pretty clear. The concert was going on at the same time Kim was set to marry Kris Humphries, and Buble continued his prank by “dedicating” a song to Kim and Kris. He sang “Feeling Good” by Nina Simone. Some of the lyrics are “she hurt him…I wish she hurt me.” Buble had just married his wife Luisana Lopilato, a few months before the concert, so maybe he was expressing the fact that he was irritated with the casual way the Kardashians treat relationships. 7. Kristin Cavallari Former MTV reality show and Dancing With the Stars contestant star Kristin Cavallari, is not impressed with Kim or the rest of the Kardashian family. She’s particularly peeved with them because the Kardashians did nothing to dispel the rumor that Kristin had an affair with Scott Disick (the father of Kourtney’s three children). Cavallari says that the Kardashians’ decision to keep quiet on the matter “says a lot about their character”, and she feels that the family was taking advantage of more free press. McFarlane has made it clear that the Kardashians don’t really do anything to better society or advance national culture, in his opinion. Even though Seth is a funny guy, he’s also serious about his work, and seems to stay on top of political issues. Joel McHale Comedian and actor Joel McHale was working for E!, the same network where the Kardashian reality show airs. McHale was warned by the network to stop making jokes about the family, but the Kardashians just kept giving him so much great material. Joel mocked the Kardashians, talking about their family troubles, plastic surgeries, and questionable life decisions. It seems like the only reason McHale wants the Kardashians around is so he can make fun of them, which is a clear sign that he doesn’t care for the family at all. 4. Mariah Carey Mariah Carey didn’t hold her tongue when it came to giving her opinion about Kim Kardashian’s marriage to Kris Humphries. Carey said she thought it was ridiculous for the pair to have such an extravagant wedding. Apparently, she was right, because it only took 72 days for Kris and Kim to get a divorce. Carey also compared Kim and Kris’ marriage to her own union with then-husband Nick Cannon. Mariah said that she doesn’t put on a “fake face for Hollywood”, and that the reason she and Cannon were still married is because they work through things when they’re upset with each other. Some say that Carey just went out of her way to criticize Kim because Nick and Kim had a brief relationship back in the day. 3. Jon Hamm Actor Jon Hamm doesn’t care if people know he’s not a Kardashian fan. He even referred to Kim as an “[expletive] idiot” and feels that she should be ashamed that a sex tape is her claim to fame. Craig thinks that the Kardashians are [expletive] idiots, and he’s definitely not impressed by the way the family rose to fame.
