Toyin Aimakhu and Seun Egbegbe Toyin got married to her actor husband Adeniyi Johnson in 2013 with an enviable wedding ceremony. Almost immediately after, rumors started flying of infidelity on Adeniyi’s part. It all soon played out on social media, with both spouses sending cryptic and explicit messages to each other to the delight and chagrin of their fans which led to Toyin moving out of her matrimonial home. Toyin and Seun Egbegbe started dating after Aimakhu split with former husband Adeniyi Johnson , and the two had a whirlwind romance which ended after Aimakhu accused Egbegbe of kidnapping her. 2. Tiwa Savage and Tunji Tee-Billz Balogun Nigerians are still yet to fully recover from their shock when about two weeks ago, Tee Billz took to his Instagram page to tell tales of his wife’s alleged infidelity among other things. In retaliation, Tiwa Savage granted a interview where she claimed that her husband was not only a cheat but was an irresponsible man who stole from her. Although other entertainers have pleaded with both parties to let peace reign for the sake of their son, Jamil, Tiwa has made it known that the marriage is over. 3. Dot Da Genius and Jhene Aiko Jhené Aiko Efuru Chilombo aka Jhené Aiko is a famous American R&B singer and songwriter. Earlier this year, it was revealed that she was married to Nigerian US based producer, Oladipo Omishore aka Dot Da Genius when he announced it on IG. Few days ago, E! News reported Jhene had filed for a divorce for her Oladipo because of ‘irreconcilable differences’ . She reportedly also asked the judge to deny him any spousal support from her big bank account. In defence, Omisore took to Instagram to deny previous claims of abusive behaviour towards his wife. He said his nature was peaceful and he ha never in any way being abusive to the singer and will continue to focus on his family, friends and music. On the international scene 4. Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris The couple officially called it quits at the beginning of June. While many sources cited boredom or jealousy on Calvin Harris’s end, the music producer claimed in a tweet at the time that nothing remained but a “huge amount of love and respect.” Things quickly took a turn for the worse, however, when pictures surfaced of Taylor cuddling up on the beach with Tom Hiddleston. 5. Marry J Blige and Kendu Mary J Blige pulled the plug on her 12-year marriage with her husband/manager in late July 2016. She cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason and asked the judge to block any spousal support. They had no prenup. 6. Kylie Jenner and Tyga Months of split and reconciliation rumors plagued Kylie Jenner and Tyga before they called it quits shortly before the May 2 Met Gala. But by mid-June, the rapper was dropping hints on social media that they were back together, and the pair attended Kanye West’s “Famous” video debut event together on June 24.
