Nigerian music stars – After the amazing feedback we got after our list of female artistes who have faded was published, (in case you missed it, read it HERE) we have come up with the male version of the list. Bear in mind that this article was not written with malicious intent but really, these folks have left us hanging for so long waiting for their next big hit or single that we have almost forgotten why we loved them to begin with or that they exist.

11. Djinee
A one-time OAP with Soundcity and the big brother of Chocolate City artistes M.I, Jesse Jagz and Ice Prince (they all slept in his house when they moved to Lagos), Djinee was/is also an amazing singer. His single Ego is considered by many to be one of Nigeria’s greatest R&B songs of all time. No one knows what he is up to these days though. I still like his other songs like I No Dey Shame and Overkilling.
