Luis Bartomeu , the president of Barcelona, reacted to the reported interest in the striker from Manchester United.
Goal reports that Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has been linked with crazy €150 million transfer price for the Barcelona forward, who won the top scorer award in La Liga.
However Bartomeu said: “We read, we listen, we see this news, but of course, our interest in this particular case is that Luis Suarez is happy at Barcelona”.
The president stressed: “We are trying to extend his contract with Barcelona and he is one of our big future efforts because he is still young, he has a vision, a lot of ambition.”
Recall that the player was signed by Barcelona in 2014 from Liverpool. Suarez has scored 94 goals in 111 appearances in all competitions so far.
