Have you ever encountered anyone displaying random act of kindness in your community such as teaching out of school children? These unsung heroes keep the world going and make it a better place.
Every bubbling environment like Lagos is full of people focused on their daily businesses and never bother about solving communal issues. Aside these people, there are several other Lagosians displaying random acts of kindness by creating means to positively impact on their immediate communities and are making lives easier for others.
Here is an opportunity to show these deserving individuals because they really count. The Lagos State Government in partnership with HEAT Limited has launched a new campaign tagged “Tèmitiyín” to celebrate key individuals within the five divisions of Lagos State (Ikorodu, Badagry, Ikeja, Lagos Island and Epe), who are committed to showing various acts of kindness and are positively influencing their communities.
So if you know any of these deserving individuals whose evident accomplishments have impacted five or more people within their communities, join the conversation on social media using the hashtag #Temitiyin and you can also nominate them by visiting the website www.temitiyin.org.
