A newly wedded Nigerian lady has taken to popular love doctor’s Instagram platform, Joro Olofin to share what she’s been going through in the past few months of her marriage. Hello Joro & audience, Happy Sunday. I wedded last September. My husband’s mother has not allowed me cook for my husband. She brings food for him. Am Igbo and my husband is Yoruba. I only know how to make Igbo dish, I can only make Amala and okro. He likes pepper in his food a lot. Should I be happy she does the cooking and cleaning? Because I feel she’s taking over my home. My husband doesn’t want me to cook or even enter the kitchen.
My mother asked me to tell her to stop coming over. I don’t have a side kick issue, this is my own issue and it is giving me headache. When she sleeps over, she wakes up by 4am to cook. Who wakes up at 4am?
