The organisers of the Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards (AMVCA) have been criticized for always neglecting Asaba-based actors, Destiny Etiko, Junior Pope and Yul Edochie every year.
Unhappy Nigerians took to social media to voice out their anger towards AMVCA for not acknowledging the actors despite airing their movies on their platform.
This comes after the 9th edition of the prestigious award show which took place at Eko Hotel and Suites in Lagos over the weekend, and saw Bimbo Ademoye, Broda Shaggi, BBNaija stars, and other celebrities win big.
After the conclusion of the award show, netizens took to the micro blogging platform, Twitter to drag the show organisers for snubbing and not recognising Yul Edochie and his colleagues in Asaba and the Eastern part of Nigeria.

On all Africa Magic channels you see more of Destiny Etiko and Zubby micheal,
But when it comes to award they take it to Timini and shaggy,
Why?”
