Femi Adesina, Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, has stated that Nigerians will come to appreciate President Muhammadu Buhari’s achievements even after he leaves office on May 29, 2023.
In his weekly article titled “NG-CARES: How Buhari quietly attends to the needs of Nigerians,” Adesina emphasized that Buhari has the best interest of Nigerians at heart and that his accomplishments cannot be erased by revisionists.
Adesina remarked that Buhari will be remembered for many achievements by fair-minded Nigerians after he retires to his hometown in Daura, Katsina State.
He added that one of the hallmarks of Buhari’s administration was his kindness to Nigerians, and that the president worked tirelessly to improve the lives of many needy Nigerians without drawing attention to himself.
Adesina also debunked many misconceptions about Buhari’s personality, stating that they were all false and that they deliberately stay in the trenches of the past, soused and marooned in apocryphal beliefs.
He concluded by stating that as Buhari prepares to leave office, posterity will be impartial and kind to him, and that these welfarist interventions offer a glimpse into the kind soul of the President, a man some people have not bothered to discern, dissect, and decipher.
