Shehu Sani, a former Nigerian senator, has urged Nigerians to thank God because President Muhammadu Buhari did not call Chef Hilda Baci before she broke the world record for the longest cooking hours.
The lawmaker who represented Kaduna Central in the National Assembly took to social media to react after Baci broke the record for the longest cooking marathon in Lagos state on Monday morning, May 15.
She achieved the feat after cooking for more than 87 hours and 45 minutes, a record which was previously set by Indian chef, Lata Tondon back in 2019.
Amid the outpouring of congratulations from different quarters, Sani said: “Nigerians should thank God that the President didn’t call Hilda on the phone before her win.”
