Nigerian singer, Dammy Krane has renewed his accusations against Davido, alleging that the latter owes him money and has refused to pay.
He made the allegations on Twitter.
In the Twitter post, the music star alleged that OBO signed artist Idowest from his record label without his permission but he let it slide.
Dammy Krane then alleged that Davido has not paid him for his songwriting contribution to the song “Pere.”
He pleaded with the singer to pay him on the grounds that they are brothers and that his daughter’s school fees are due.
writing: “I know it’s hard for rich people to pay debts, but Davido, if not for my sake, at least pay me my money for my daughter’s sake (your niece, if at all). School fees aren’t easy in Nigeria right now, and everyone is trying to secure their future. It’s money we want, not wahala.”
“Let’s not forget, Davido, that you took Idowest from my record label. I didn’t talk because I saw you as a brother, and neither did I drag the artist (because I had done my part to help him). Genuinely, I want to know why you don’t want to pay me for the song you tweeted that I wrote.”
Davido has not yet responded to Krane’s allegations.
This is not the first time Krane has accused Davido of owing him money.
In 2017, Krane claimed that Davido owed him $25,000 for a feature verse on the song “Pere.”
Davido denied the allegations, and the two artists engaged in a public spat on social media.
