Sensational Nigerian rapper and singer Odumodublvck has discussed how he lost his father to death after he couldn’t afford to pay N70,000 for bed space in the hospital.
Odumodublvck shared stories of his early career struggles, including the time he lost his father due to his family’s inability to pay N70,000 for a hospital bed.
The ‘Declan Rice’ hitmaker claimed that because they were living in penury at the time, they had to bring his father home to die.
He, however, expressed strong belief that no musician was behind his musical achievement because of his difficult experience.
He added that while he is inspired by them, nobody paved way for him in the industry.
In his words:
“When my father died my family was poor. We could not pay hospital bed space of 70k [N70,000]. We had to take him home.
“Coming to tell me about paving the way for me? That’s God, brother. No use your ego counter reason my reality, bros.
“I agree say you inspire me. But bros, you pave the way for nobody. Nobody!
“I hate when n*ggas try to play God.”
