The Hollywood actress was admitted to a hospital for paranoid schizophrenia when she was eight years old. Once famous, the actress had numerous nervous breakdowns, most notably on the set of The Misfits in 1960. Furthermore, the actress stated multiple times that she was hearing voices and even went on medication. Her meltdowns continued in the following years, getting worse, until Monroe was found dead in her home in Brentwood, California in the summer of 1962.
