The veteran movie and TV actress and Academy Award winner received death threats from a man who claimed that he would slit her throat. This occurred in 2012, and Berry announced that she would be moving to France for her safety. Luckily, Berry’s husband, Olivier Martinez, is from France, so the move wouldn’t be too difficult of a transition. It appears that Martinez is quite capable of protecting his wife, since he got into a physical altercation with Halle Berry’s ex, model Gabriel Aubry, who is also the father or her daughter Nahla. Berry was also previously married to baseball star David Justice and singer Eric Benet.
