It’s not easy to narrow down the list to just top 10. But I tried to creat the list of ten most notable deaths of 2013. The list includes those who did excellent in the field of sports, entertainment, politics, human rights, science and business. Below is the list of 10 recent notable deaths around the world. 10. Death of James Gandolfini With many hits yet to make when he died at age of 51. James Gandolfini, best known for his role as Tony Soprano in the award-winning HBO series, The Sopranos, in which he played a troubled American Mafia crime boss died on June 19, 2013, during a brief vacation in Rome, Italy. During his career, he won three Emmy Awards, three Screen Actors Guild Awards and one Golden Globe Award for Best Actor in a Drama Series. Navigate using arrows below 9. Williams put bathing beauty, in the dictionary. She set multiple national and regional swimming records in her late teens as part of the Los Angeles Athletic Club swim team. She denied to compete in the 1940 Summer Olympics because of the outbreak of World War II. She died in her sleep on June 6, 2013, in her Los Angeles home. 8. Thomas Howard Former NFL linebacker Thomas Howard died on Nov. 18, 2013 following a high-speed car crash on a freeway in Oakland. The 30-year-old Howard was driving a speeding BMW when he hit a big rig, flipped over the center divider and went head-on into a Honda traveling on the other side. According to the Alameda County Coroner’s office, two men who died on spot, Howard and the driver of the other car, 64-year-old Zeng Long Liu. 7. Walker was born on September 12, 1973, in Glendale California. He began acting when he was very young. He became famous in 1999 after his role in the hit film Varsity Blues, but later garnered fame as Brian O’Connor in The Fast and the Furious film series. His other well-known works are Eight Below, Running Scared, The Lazarus Project, Into the Blue, Joy Ride, She’s All That, and Takers. 6. Kate Williamson Character actress Kate Williamson was born as Robina Jane Sparks in 1930 in the USA. She appeared in such films as “Disclosure,” ”Dahmer,” ”Dream Lover” and “Racing With the Moon. She was married to Al Ruscio. She died on December 6, 2013 in Encino, California, USA, at age 82 after a lengthy illness. Williamson is survived by four children and five grandchildren. 5. Eleanor Parker Eleanor Jean Parker was an American actress who appeared in some 80 movies and television series. An actress of notable versatility, she was called Woman of a Thousand Faces, the title of her biography by Doug McClelland. She was nominated for Academy Awards three times for her portrayals of strong-willed women and played a scheming baroness in “The Sound of Music,”. She died at the age of 91, on Dec. 9, 2013 near her home in Palm Springs, Calif. She had married four times and had four children. 4. He competed in the Ultimate Fighting Championship’s Heavyweight division, Strikeforce, M-1 Global, ShoXC, and King of the Cage. He held the distinction of being the first American to become the WBC Muay Thai World Heavyweight Champion. He died when he was only 30. 3. Christopher Evan Welch Christopher Evan Welch was an American actor of Broadway, film, and television, best known for Vicky Cristina Barcelona (2008), War of the Worlds (2005) and The Interpreter (2005). He was married to Emma Roberts and Emma. She was a founder and leading figure of Cuba’s human rights movement. She served as Cuba’s representative to UNESCO in Paris until 1965. She was a sharp critic of the Fidel and Raúl Castro governments for decades. She served 29 years as a political prisoner and has lived in exile in Spain since 1979.
