1979 film Alien was a landmark film in itself. Starring  Tom Skerritt, Sigourney Weaver, Veronica Cartwright, Harry Dean Stanton, John Hurt, Ian Holm and Yaphet Kotto and directed by Ridley Scott, Alien is considered to be the one of the best science fiction and horror movie to be ever made. Its trailer was equally spooky, which showed the horror, tension and claustrophobia that the characters of the film experienced. So, naturally it is one of the best movie trailers ever made.
