CONAN O’BRIEN Conan O’Brien surprised his audience in 2011 when he officiated the wedding of his costume designer Scott Cronick and partner David Gorshein. JASON SEGEL Jason Segel was approached by a random couple in a bar who convinced him he was the perfect person to officiate their wedding. Recounting the situation to Jay Leno, Jason said, “I guess the guys who were supposed to officiate dropped out and [the couple was] watching Forgetting Sarah Marshall at the time — so they convinced me that I would be an appropriate person.” Following his interview, Jason married the duo on national TV.

TORI SPELLING Tori Spelling took the role of a lifetime when she married a couple who stayed at her Chateau La Rue bed and breakfast back in 2007. Taking to her MySpace page, Tori explained her thoughts on the occasion: “I was so honored when they asked me to officiate,” she wrote, though she also confessed how nervous she’d been. “I've done live theater and presented at the Emmys, but this by far was my scariest moment.”

MARK CONSUELOS When Howard Stern married Beth Ostrosky in 2008, he turned to his good friend, actor Mark Consuelos, to preside over the NYC affair. In an interview with Broadway Buzz three years later, Mark joked about his marrying status: “I kind of retired after that one. I still have a lot of people ask me.
