13. Keith Richards
Looking at him now, it’s hard to believe The Rolling Stone’s lead guitarist, Keith Richards was ever desirable. Now 71, Richards is a rock legend, and was listed as number 4 on Rolling Stone Magazine‘s 100 Best Guitarists list. But all the hard partying, drugs, alcohol, and stressful world touring definitely took its toll on his looks.
He’s been tried on drug related charges five times, and spent time in drug rehabilitation programs. In 2010, journalist Peter Hitchens wrote about Richards that he is “a capering streak of living gristle who ought to be exhibited as a warning to the young of what drugs can do to you even if you’re lucky enough not to choke on your own vomit.”
