Men who were destroyed by the Kardashians : Ah, the Kardashians. What is it about these women that has the world salivating, or gagging, depending on who you talk to? Whether you love or hate the Kardashian clan, there’s no denying that they’ve absolutely made their mark in pop culture. From relationships and marriages, to children and business ventures, you probably can’t go a day or two without hearing something about the Kardashians in the media.

If nothing else, you’ve got to admit that, for the most part, the Kardashians work as a unit. They come across as a close family, and want to make sure that everyone has just enough money and exposure to keep the family in the media on a constant basis. You also have to admit that the Kardashians have pretty exciting lives, from the looks of things. After all, when you’re able to help deliver your own baby on camera like Kourtney did, or you find out your husband wants to be a woman like Kris did, you’ve got to admit that your life is eventful if nothing else.

It’s also hard to ignore the fact that some of the men who have gotten involved with the Kardashians haven’t quite been the same since. That’s not always a good thing. Here are 10 men who have been destroyed by the Kardashians.

Remember that basketball player Kris Humphries was married to Kim Kardashian for 72 days? The couple tied the knot in 2011, and through reality show footage, it appears that Kim was determined to get married, even though many of her loved ones were skeptical. Some say that Kardashian went through with the wedding because of the endorsements she was receiving, and the revenue she’d get from televising the wedding. While this may or may not be completely true, we haven’t seen Humphries with a new woman on his arm. Can you blame him? The Washington Wizards power forward is probably not willing to go public with another relationship after that whole Kardashian debacle.

Brody Jenner is an actor and model, and is Caitlyn (Bruce) Jenner’s son. You probably remember him as Lauren Conrad’s boyfriend on the reality show The Hills , and for starring with his brotherBrandon and their friend Spencer Pratt, in the reality show Princes of Malibu . When Conrad left The Hills in 2009, Kristin Cavallari, Brody’s ex-girlfriend, took Lauren’s place. This rekindled romance became the main focus of the reality show until it ended in 2010. Jenner went back to reality television in 2013, when he joined the eighth season of Keeping Up With The Kardashians. While on the show, he made it pretty plain that he didn’t care for his stepmother Kris too much, even though it seemed she was trying to bring the family together. Maybe he thought his connection to the Kardashians would at least get him some more TV time, but that hasn’t exactly been the case. Rapper Tyga has recently been romantically linked to Kylie Jenner. This doesn’t seem like a big deal, but Jenner is not 18 yet and Tyga is in his mid twenties. The rapper also has a child with his former fiancé Blac Chyna, who is friends with Kim Kardashian. So, a lot of people are assuming that Kim has had a hand in getting Kylie and Tyga together for quite some time now. It’s messy, to say the least. The Kardashians have a way of driving people nuts or making sure they never work in Hollywood again. Sometimes, men who have been linked to the Kardashians have been cursed with both a bad reputation and compromised sanity. It’s probably best for Tyga to get out while he can. Jaden and his sister Willow, have been known to say some pretty crazy things during interviews. For instance, Jaden stated that school was a tool that is used to make young people dumber. Smith is known for his acting roles in The Pursuit of Happyness, The Karate Kid, The Day The Earth Stood Still and After Earth . Jaden is also known for acting in movies with his father, veteran actor Will Smith. While the young Smith has a promising future in Hollywood, he has received some negative feedback for his previous relationship with Kylie Jenner, who is the youngest of the Kardashian-Jenner siblings. Kylie stated that she was glad she and Jaden met, and while some thought the relationship was cute, other’s thought that Smith’s connection with Jenner was a bad idea. That’s right. The brother in the Kardashian family is pretty fed up with all the shenanigans the family is involved in. Rob has stated that he feels his sisters behave selfishly sometimes, and that no one has truly helped him to get his career off the ground. He started a line of dress socks with a friend, but still hasn’t achieved fame at the same level as his popular siblings. The stresses of being a Kardashian have also taken a toll on Rob in recent years. He’s gained lots of weight, and has refused to show up at certain family vacations and events. Even Rob’s love life has taken a turn for the worst. He was most recently connected to singer Rita Ora, but she broke up with him, stating that he wasn’t able to “satisfy” her. Ray J’s life has never been the same after filming a sex tape with Kim Kardashian. The two were in a serious relationship, but after the tape was released, it seems that Kim’s career took off, and Ray J was known as the creepy guy who made a sex tape. Of course, Kim’s tears and manufactured anguish about the exposure she got from the tape helped the public to feel sorry for her. Ray J, who is the brother of singer and actress Brandy, went on to record more music and had a reality show called For The Love of Ray J. Kanye West has gotten arguably weirder since he started dating and married Kim Kardashian. Allegedly, he was the reason that Kim changed her personal style and started dressing in clothing that was a little more fashion-forward , according to some. Kardashian also died her hair blond and cut it, supposedly at the request of West. Kanye West has also been on a number of interviews in which his voice sounded completely different than it did before he started dating Kim. He also launched a fashion line with clothing that features a chic yet ragged look. Strange, indeed. Kanye West has also stated that he’s proud of Kim’s scantily-clad photo shoots, and he even compared his wife to First Lady Michelle Obama. It’s probably best for West to take a quieter approach—to everything. He and Kim have a daughter together, and Kim is now pregnant with the couple’s son. Scott Disick already wasn’t exactly a guy on his best behavior when he met Kourtney Kardashian. However, he and Kourtney have been together off and on since 2006 and have three children together. The couple even agreed to have the birth of their son, Mason, filmed on the fourth season of Keeping Up With The Kardashians in 2009. Perhaps this type of exposure is what makes Scott go back and forth between heavy drinking and sobriety. Kourtney convinced Scott to go to counselling for his drinking. In 2011, Disick supposedly wanted to propose to Kourtney, but she stated that things were good between them, and she didn’t want to change that. Perhaps Scott should have seen that as his way out, but the couple welcomed their second child the following year. In 2014, Kourtney gave birth their third child on their first son’s birthday, December 14. Scott Disick checked himself into rehab in 2015, after he was publicly intoxicated in Atlantic City. Lamar Odom was married to Khloe Kardashian. The two only knew each other for a few weeks before tying the knot, much to the surprise of everyone in Khloe’s family. Bruce Jenner was even hurt and offended that Khloe hadn’t introduced him to Lamar sooner. Khloe expressed her support for her husband and wanted to work on the marriage, but long stints of time went by in which she allegedly couldn’t locate her spouse. There were also allegations that Odom was cheating on Kardashian. Recently, the couple has decided to reconcile instead of allowing their divorce to become final. Many assume that the stress of being part of the Kardashian clan is part of what drove Lamar to engage in such erratic behavior.

The former Bruce Jenner, who is now known as Caitlyn, recently underwent gender reassignment surgery. This was after years of trying to be comfortable and feel normal as a man. Some say that his marriage to Kris Jenner is what made him make the final decision to become a woman. The media has portrayed her as demanding and extremely emasculating. Maybe her attitude towards Bruce had to do with the fact that she felt deceived. Bruce’s other ex-wives also admit that he’s wanted to be a woman for some time, but never thought it was the right time to make the transition. Some would also attest to the notion that Caitlyn has become obsessed with the spotlight since starring in the hit reality show Keeping Up With The Kardashians. Jenner’s transition into a woman was one of the most publicized Kardashian-related events we’ve seen in a while, and maybe that’s what she was going for. Maybe it’s a sign that Caitlyn has officially been ruined by the Kardashians.
