Tom Hiddleston began acting for television in 2001, with his role in The Life and Adventures of Nicholas Nickleby. However, he only became well known in the world of cinema in 2011, with his portrayal of Loki in the Marvel Studios film Thor. He continued his role one year later in The Avengersmovie.
